Nazca

Dylan and Kat have left Pisco and have spent nearly all day on two hot buses, a cab and another bus - but have finally arrived in Nasca. They have a plane booked for tomorrow to see the Nazca lines. It´s a little Cessna that will hold five people, and we will be able to see everything, the pictures on display cafes make it look amazing. Fingers crossed with the landing though, perhaps he will let Dylan land - that would make him feel a lot better about going up at all.

Us on the beach near Pisco

Here we are then

So after a long flight our first stop was LA. We stayed there for a day and a bit and did some of the usual (for us which meant getting on the wrong bus and riding it for hours looking for something to do - in LA!!). Ended up in Venice beach though which was cool and we had the authentic American burger and checked the skater dudes.

After LA we headed to Lima. Was all a bit much for us though, but we enjoyed it well enough. The most memorable thing really is the exhibition of driving and horn blowing skills - truly awesome, makes Rome look like a hamlet in Dorest (umm - quite).

After Lima we caught the bus down to Pisco which is a small town about 3 hours south of Lima (which is in Peru - picking this up pretty well now huh?). Unfortunately Kat picked up a stomach thing in LA so she has been unable to get a drunk as Dylan but she´s getting a lot better and looking forward to downing some Piscos tonight. Dylan has been wondering quite how strong Piscos are and is planning further research tonight.

Tomorrow we´re off to Nazca to see the nazca lines and hopefully go up in a plane. Dylan is going to try to bribe someone to let him have a go at some mid air rolling stoppies - it "could" happen.

Till next time.... oh before I forget I think you can comment by clicking something below this, if you want to that is, although the emails for both of us is still working.
